French
French is taught weekly in KS2. In Y3 and 4 the class teachers teach using the Primary Languages Network scheme of work. As of this year all Y5 and 6 children are taught weekly by Mr Duthuit who teaches French at Braunton Academy. He builds on their initial learning in Y3 and 4 and best prepares the children for making a really smooth and strong transition to learning French at KS3 whichever secondary schoool they move on to.
